Welcome to the English Language Department at Berkley School District. We celebrate and embrace the richness of cultures, backgrounds, and experiences that our students and community members bring to our community. We believe that a diverse learning environment enriches our understanding of language, broadens our perspective and allows us to engage meaningfully with each other. Students who are English learners (ELs) are provided instructional services through the English Language Development program designed to meet their individual needs.
