OSTC redefines high school
Oakland Schools Technical Campuses (OSTC) are designed for any student who wants to graduate high school with industry certifications, on-the-job experiences, business connections, and college credits. OSTCs are valuable extensions of our district high schools, and bring students customized, self-directed learning that guides them toward future career success. The goal of our OSTCs is to help students find the best program fit for their interests, experiences, and goals.

Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southwest will host its annual Farmers Market and Plant Sale at 1000 Beck Road on Thursday, May 15, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, May 16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Agriscience and Environmental Technology students from Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northwest achieved top honors at the 2025 Michigan FFA Agricultural Skills Competition, held Friday, April 11, at Michigan State University.

Students in the Entrepreneurship and Advanced Marketing program at Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northwest are once again preparing for the annual Future Leaders Golf Outing. This capstone project blends business, philanthropy, and real-world career readiness.

On March 10 and 11, eleven Culinary Arts students proudly represented their program at the 2025 ProStart Invitational, demonstrating skill, creativity, and teamwork across a wide range of competitions.

On Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, the kitchens at Dorsey Culinary College in Roseville sizzled with delicious dishes, excitement, nerves, and serious chef energy. The American Culinary Federation’s “Cook Like You Mean It” competition, and Dorsey’s Culinary Arts students showed up ready to shine.

This spring, OSTC-SE's Entrepreneurship and Advanced Marketing students have literally taken creativity for a spin. These future moguls are diving headfirst into the ultimate hands-on challenge: transforming a vehicle into a fully-functioning business on wheels.

A team of dedicated students from Oakland Schools Technical Campus Southeast recently placed in the top five in the Conservative Pickup Class at the 72nd annual Detroit Autorama competition.

Students from Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northwest (OSTC-NW) were recently honored with nine 2025 Print Excellence Awards from the Graphic Media Alliance (GMA), which recognizes outstanding printing and graphic design achievements.
